My Videostudio X2 PRO has been having problem stating OUT OF MEMORY. I had not used this software for a few weeks. It starts ok an as soon as I go to capture mode from my CANON HDV using FIREWIRE camcorder it comes in with error and shuts down. I have uninstalled and reinstalled no luck. I am not aware of any system change that will cause this error. I use WIN XP with all patches installed. I have also installed UVS 12 service pack 1 update from Corel site
I HAVE 2 GB OF ram AND 1 TB of HDD
I did not have this issue in the past on the same system
Please help

Could it be that some of your memory has gone bad? You may want to test it.

Check how many running processes and memory are being used by pressing the Ctrl-Alt-Del keys together and looking at the
Windows Task Manager "Performance" tab. Check this both with and without VideoStudio running.
