Exporting to DVD problem - Timecode

Post by seewhy75 »

Hi,

I'm having problems trying to export a project I created to a dvd. The problem is that I can't stop the timecode appearing in the video that is burnt. I'm using a trial version of X3.

I can stop the timecode being displayed when I am creating the project, through the preferences menu and unchecking the dvd subs flag. But they still apear when I try to create the dvd.

Does anyone have any ideas on what could be going wrong?

Cheers.

Welcome to the forums!!!

But let me guess... Your video camera is a Sony? If so, then it is a camera setting which governs the time code, not video studio, I am afraid...

And by the way, putting NAAAAA against aspects of your profile, does not help anyone, including yourself. The registration process offered a program -- BelArc Adviser -- which would easily tell you those details. And if you have to come back here regularly, having those details will often make all the difference in providing relevant information which could assist you...

Hi, Thanks for your reply.

Yes it is a Sony, I had read previously about the problem but was hoping that someone might have had another solution out there.

As for the NAAAAA in my profile, yes I am aware of the program that I could download. But I am accessing this forum from a work computer, so I couldn't download the program, and the computer is not what I'm using to create my movie.

Cheers.
