VideoStudio Pro X3 Limits YouTube Videos to 10 minutes
YouTube now allows videos up to 15 minutes, but VideoStudio still limits one to 10 minutes when using the Upload to YouTube option. Does anyone know if there will be a fix for that? I can't seem to come up with the same settings using the Create Video File option.

Re: VideoStudio Pro X3 Limits YouTube Videos to 10 minutes
Welcome to the forums,
Since this is something that YouTube just changed, there certainly is not any fix for it now, and I would not hold my breath for one. Just render your project to a video file, and then upload it to YouTube through their website.
What settings are you wanting to render to? You can customize them by selecting the Custom option at the very bottom of the menu. So go to Share>Create Video File>Custom. Then in the dialog that opens, select the File type, then press the Options button, which will open a dialog window that will allow you to alter just about all the setting that the specific file type (codec) allows.

Thank you very much for the reply, Ron. I tried everything else except the Custom setting way at the bottom of the menu. I just created a custom movie template to match the Upload to YouTube option and now everything is fine. Thanks, again.

Hi,
I create my video and the share create HD MP4 file (when it works) or a HD 720 WMV file of the lenth require ie up to 15mins.
I then use DIVX to re-convert to divx format (compression up to 50%) then upload that to YouTube.

Re: VideoStudio Pro X3 Limits YouTube Videos to 10 minutes
With a Director account on YouTube for a number of years it is 'very' annoying to find this Pro X3"feature" that restricts YouTube - some uploads can be over an hour in length - this has been so for thousands of other people within YouTube for years. This wasn't thought through by Ulead!
