Need Help Burning Blu-Ray in DVD Factory 2010

Post by JPalmer »

I am a new user to VideoStudio Pro X3 & just spent the last few days creating a video. I am trying to burn this video to a Blu-Ray but DVD Factory is not allowing me. My video was shot with a Sanyo VCP-FH1A full HD camcorder in 1080P & I don't want to compress it onto a DVD. When I select my Blu-Ray burner in DVD Factory & have a fresh BD-R in the drive it says that the BD-R disc is invalid. I have tried a couple different discs with the same result. Is this a known bug? Please help me. Thanks, Justin.

I copied your post to the Digital Studio 2010 Forum, since DVD Factory 2010 is part of that suite, and we don't have a specific forum for it. It is a very unpopular product, so much so that Corel provides a watered-down version of DVD Movie Factory 7 (DVD MovieFactory 7SE) for registered owners of VS X3. If you have not downloaded it yet, you might consider it.

I am using a trial version of Movie Factory & am having success with that just wanted to figure out why it won't work with DVD Factory. Sounds like I will have to go with Movie Factory, thank you for the advice.
