PSP 3 Organizer needs improvements
I like the organizer that comes with PSP 3, but it is really void of useful features. It has no file utilities of any kind. You can't move, copy, paste, nothing with the organizer. This should be a basic ability of any organizer. You should also be able to view a photo full screen. Right now you have to select the photos you want to view full screen, then view them in a slide show. That is a round about, time consuming way to just view a photo full screen. The media trays can only be opened in the full editor, but they would probably be just as useful in the organizer if it had the ability to move, copy, and other file task abilities. Other than these missing features, I really enjoy using the organizer. Until these abilities are added though, I have to keep jumping out of it to use other utilities to handle file chores. PSP 3 is the best version yet, and the editor is fantastic. Just spruce up the organizer a bit and you'll have a winner.

Re: PSP 3 Organizer needs improvements
I use batch processing and renaming for a lot of organizational chores....but personally find the current organizer devoid of utility. I open the folder I am working in and drag the file into my open PSP. I certainly hope corel is listening and either reverts to the old method of picking photos or enhances this "feature."
Adverts for Corel products when you close PSP don't bother me.

Re: PSP 3 Organizer needs improvements
I find that when I use the organizer I can only select on thing at a time in there and then have to take only one at a time into the editor. Seems awful strange way to do work when you have a lot to do. I thought I was missing something or not doing it right but the more I read the more I know it's not me it is them.

You can add multiple files to the media-tray and work with multiple files in the editor that way.

Re: PSP 3 Organizer needs improvements
I cant find how to display media tray whilst in the organiser
The View|Palettes menus are all disabled whilst in organiser mode
I upgraded from PSPX2, having been using ACDSee as my organiser (and PSPX2 for serious editing), I hoped that PSPX3 might mean i could just use a single application to do both.
I find I was seriously optimistic: it cant do flickr uploading, for instance

Re: PSP 3 Organizer needs improvements
I wonder if this is a Windows 7 problem. I'm using Vista, and opened the Organizer, multi-selected numerous photos using [CTL]+Click or [SHIFT]+Click, then pressed the Full Editor button. All photos that I selected were opened in the Full Editor.TexasKat wrote:I find that when I use the organizer I can only select on thing at a time in there and then have to take only one at a time into the editor. I use Windows 7 and I can select multiple images at a time. So probably far-less the OS itself.
