Dialog box partly inaccessible so unmovable
When I click on 'Smart Photo Fix' the dialog box appears with the top of it hidden behind the top of the screen, as shown in the attachment (scroll to top right).
As the top of the box is obscured, is there any way of returning the box so that all of it is visible? This has happened very recently. It used to behave properly. All the other dialog boxes behave OK.

Re: Dialog box partly inaccessible so unmovable
I don't know how else to do this but there's probably a number of ways to do it. One program that I have on my system is called WinSplit Revolution. It can take control over your window positions, I use it on my widescreen display to put one window on the left and another on the right sort of like having dual displays. Anyways if you download and use that program you can have it move the dialog window for you.
Here's a link to it http://winsplit-revolution.com/
Again, there's probably another way of moving the window without downloading anything.

Re: Dialog box partly inaccessible so unmovable
Thank you for the suggestion - which does partly work: I can move the box, but when I reopen it, it goes back to the unmovable position.

Re: Dialog box partly inaccessible so unmovable
I use to have this problem. I'm trying to remember how I handled it.
I can only think of two possible ways. The first is hitting the Alt key and selecting Move from the drop down menu. Alt will activate the window's context menu since no other menu object exists in the window.
The other way is to decrease the size of the PSP main window and see if the dialog still appears at the top of the screen. These probably won't help and I can't test them because Windows 7 automatically maximizes the window if I attempt to drag it to the top of the screen.

Re: Dialog box partly inaccessible so unmovable
I've tried pressing Alt, but I don't get a drop down menu. Am I misunderstanding what you've said? I've also tried reducing the size of the main PSP window, but that doesn't affect the placement of the Smart Photo Fix box.LeviFiction wrote:I use to have this problem. Well I said they probably wouldn't work.
As for hitting Alt. If the menu doesn't pop up right away hit the down arrow key.

Press Alt+Spacebar, then press "M" then down arrow a few times or continue moving with the mouse. This has bugged me for years.

Re: Dialog box partly inaccessible so unmovable
Thank you so much for that: it works perfectly - except for one thing. When I reopen PSP, the dialog box has returned to its original position. How do I save it in its new, usable position?PRCoach wrote:Press Alt+Spacebar, then press "M" then down arrow a few times or continue moving with the mouse. This has bugged me for years.

Re: Dialog box partly inaccessible so unmovable
Is your WIndows Taskbar positioned at the top of your screen? This was brought to our attention in the VS studio forum a short time ago. If so, try moving it to the bottom, the sides or using the auto-hide taskbar.

Re: Dialogue box partly inaccessible so unmovable
Once you have the dialogue boxes as wanted do File > Workspace > Save either with a new name If its been customised or as Default. That will then become the workspace that is used on opening

Re: Dialog box partly inaccessible so unmovable
At last! I've sorted it (with thanks to PRCoach). I had the box showing advanced options, but when I clicked on the 'Preview' arrowhead on the top left, it expanded the box to show the before and after previews. When I restarted PSP, the box is in its new position.
Thanks for everybody's suggestions and input.
