How do I mute audio for part of a video clip?
I have a video clip that is 5 minutes long. I would like to totally mute the audio for the first 13 seconds of the clip only. I know how to move the rubber band like thing down to mute the sound. There has got to be a better way to do this, is there?

Cut your clip at the 13 sec mark, then mute the 13 sec clip, by clicking on the speaker with the X icon found on the Video tab. You can also right-click on the clip and select Mute from the Menu.
