Hello,
I use PSP to crop some photos but occasionally I would prefer to keep the original file size. I cannot see how to do this, I have checked the jgp compression and it is set as 1 and I cannot reduce it to zero. Therefore an orginal file of say 5.28 MB, I crop just a little from one side but when I save the file it is reduced to 1.78MB.
Is there any way to keep the original file size , obviously less a little if cropped?
Thanks for any help offered.
Elizabeth

Re: Saved File Dize
jpeg is a lossy format, each time you save it it will reduce in file size.
Use a format like tiff, or the normal psp file type (I use photoshop so not sure what the native psp file type is) and use the save as command to save.
