Hello again.
I'm still can't find a solution, I'm using UVS9, when I put an object, image, flash or short clip inside of "Overlay" and under attributes “Direction/Style” I choose to ENTER and EXIT the object from one point to another, never 'STATIC' (usually across the video) the object always PAUSES where I've original put it, for a couple of seconds then continue to the exit point, this doesn't happen on ver.8.0
I cannot find where to make the change/setting. Because when pauses, the animation is not what I want, like a bird (.avi) should go all across the ski, never pauses.
What can I do, please?
Thank You
SanKev

AnimeChick,
This is the way to CREATE the pause, the problem San_kev is having is that his/her project IS pausing and he/she doesn't want it to. The question is how to make it STOP pausing.

That's true AnimeChik, I don't need to pause anything, but thank you anyways, seems that noone knows how.AnimeChick wrote:In customize Pan and Zoom select the option 'enable middle frame'. Place a pause in the middle frame.
This doesn't happen whe using Version8, example: in v8, I can put a flower (png, gif) in overlay and choose enter & exit, the final clips is a flower moved by the wind from the left of my screen to the right... but in ver9 the same intention but the flower shows from the left of screen then PAUSE in the midle (or original position where I've put it) for 2,3 sec then continue to the exit side...
This happen with evrything that is chossen with ENTER/EXIT atribute.
Thank You again.

Okay, San_kev,
I think I figured out what to do. I don't have a bird to test it with, but I did get the flowers to "blow" across the screen. What I did was put the over lay video on the very far right of the screen. Drag it over so far to the right that you can bearly grab it to bring it out. Then tell it that you want it to start on the left and end on the right. When it plays, it doesn't "pause" until it gets where it ended and it's off the TV range by then and even though it still pauses, you can't tell because it's off screen. I also went back to VS6 and VS7 and discovered they had the option to either have that pause or not. Strange that VS9 removed that option and made it default without a way to disable it.

Re: Objects-images- PAUSE in overlay..
Thank You mathis, I was plannig to do that, I think is the last resource, but that will steal a few seconds where I can add another object to do another effect. But I hope Ulead finds out and gives us a solution.mathis wrote:Okay, San_kev,

Re: Objects-images- PAUSE in overlay..
Hi Again mathis and every one
I meant to post this long ago but I forgot. This is regarding the objects PAUSING during the enter/exit.
I found out... (some times, we think 'I don't need to read the WHOLE User manual..') just in page 95/96... all I need to do is drag the right TRIM handles to le left to set how long the object will pause... and every object just FLY when I need it.

I hope this help some one else.
Greetings
Sankev
