Hi,
Yes I know that there are several discussions in this forum on the famous AVCHD blips but, not wishing to plough through the current 111 entries in the latest one (plus all the others), could someone document the latest and best solution and then lock the discussion so that there is an easy to find / locate solution for all ? (or is this still being a bit optimistic ;o) ?
Ideally could the summary include solutions to each version (I am on VSX2).
In my case, Sony HDV footage seems to work fine but Sony AVCHD is returning the famous blip (1 frame backwards) for each transition and some titles and spoils an otherwise 'clean' edit.
Thanks

I don't think there is a one-solution-fits-all, if any.

Re: Summary of soln to AVCHD blips ?
For some (many?) X2 users, the solution seems to have been to install the trial version of X3. And I am not suggestiong that facetiously. It seems that something in X3 overwrites a common file in X2. And when the trial version is later removed, the common file remains...

Thanks Ken !
That does seem to work - I haven't uninstalled the trial of VSX3 yet but it does seem to have resolved the issue of the transition blips in VSX2.
I did notice a slightly different colour saturation (probably too much green or blue) compared to my previous edits though.
Will look into this.
