Can't Open AVI files
I am unable to open AVI files. They are h.264 at 720x544, 700kbps with two AAC audio tracks, one subtitle track, and chapters. They play fine in VLC. Is there any reason why they wouldn't be able to open in VideoStudio Pro X3? I am running Windows 7 64 bit with an ATI HD5650 Mobility, 6GB of ram, and a core i7-720.

How are you trying to "open" them?

Re: Can't Open AVI files
I've tried using the add button in the edit/media screen, dragging the files into the video library, and using the import from digital media function. I've also tried adding them as .mov files, which also doesn't work.

Re: Can't Open AVI files
Problem solved; I re-encoded the files and they work now.
