Adding shadow to image object

Post by sisom »

Hi, I've created a 3D looking box from three shapes put together, and then grouped them, and wanted to add a shadow to them, but I can't work out how to do it. I thought I should convert the path to an image, and then I would be able to apply the shadow to it, but the shadow option is always greyed out. I'm sure I've applied a shadow to an image before (not to a PI object), or am I deluding myself?

You can not apply a shadow to a Group. What you need to do is select your objects, and Merge as Single Object.

Thanks, Ron! That's fixed it for me, I've got the shadow I want now.
