i still dont understand the last 3 steps of your program called VLC , oké so ill tell u what i got
The thing i got now , is the movie i saved , changed all the settings , the pressed start , but where does it go then ? , and when i use , ''goalfile'' (mine is in dutch so the translation is a bit weird ) is saves as a ''.ps'' and thats not right , and the sound quality goes down with this converting. ..
So can you reexplain the steps please, and how do i keep the original sound quality?

DivX is a highly compressed video file format, that was originally developed for viewing and streaming over the internet. It is a format that other video formats are converted to for that purpose. So when you try to edit it, you may have problems, some which may be overcome through converting it using a third party application like VLC or Super. Since you're using DivX, I would recommend using their software to convert it or create your DVDs. http://www.divx.com/en/winflorian00777 wrote:Didnt work for me , can one of the Mods , help cause i dont need advertisment of some stupid program , can someone please coem with a Solution , Ptach or update , i really need to finish my movie !

Re: VideoStudio PRO X3 Messed up audio / Movie
I found a new way to fix the problem for myself. I hope it works for you. The overall process is use VLC to create an MP3 audio file out of your AVI and then insert this audio track back into the timeline while splitting the other audio off the AVI and deleting it from the timeline. There is some slight clipping of the video file that needs to be done because VLC reduces the audio by 0.01 seconds. Read below for the steps that worked for me.
1. On "Media" menu click the "Convert / Save" menu or Ctrl+R
2. Click the Add button and add your AVI file
3. Click the "Convert / Save" button
4. Select Audio-MP3
5. Click Start and the AVI audio will convert to MP3
6. In VSx3 split the AVI's audio out, delete it, and add this audio back to the timeline.
7. You will have to chop the first 0.01 off of the video using the scissors because VLC reduces the clip duration by this much. Annoying, yes...., oh well..
8. Create a new video file using the project settings. I just name my file the same and use the MPG extension.
9. Now work your project with these MPG files....
Good Luck!

One thing that I didn't mention was that the project settings might distort your clip. I'm trying to figure out how to get the splash screen that lets you choose the 16:9 box or leave it at 4:3. I think this project setting needs to match the aspect ratio of your clips when doing this method I'm talking about.

I don't have X3 on this machine, but in X2 it's under Preferences>Show Startup Screen.I'm trying to figure out how to get the splash screen that lets you choose the 16:9 box or leave it at 4:3.
