New update problem with PSP X3

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but i'm new on here Suddenly my copy of Paint Shop Photo Pro X3 has started coming up with a dialog box when I close it that says there's an update ready to be installed. I press "Install Now" and the box vanishes but installs nothing. Next time I use X3 I get the same box again. It's driving me mad but i can't find a mention of it anywhere else on here. I've tried re-installing but the first time I use the software it comes up with this box again.

I'm using XP pro and my X3 version number is 13.0.0.264.

Try a manual install. Either go to the Help menu and select Check For Updates.

Or just go to this site, and download the actual patches and install them yourself.

Service Pack 2 is a must for program stability.

Thanks for your reply, i've now manually installed the service pack 2 but I still get the box on closedown saying my update is ready for installation, but when I press "install" the box vanishes... only to appear again next time I open PSPX3 ... it's very annoying. I've pressed "check for updates" and it says there are none so why this box keeps coming up i've no idea... Thanks again for you help.
