Hi
Sorry I know it's an old version.. but now have problems.
Lost Effects (transitions) followed the advice on these forums about uninstalling and re-installing (including the bit about removing the file in Apps Data.
Get an error message when loading Ulead "Load mpeg vio driver error" but seemed OK otherwise.
Managed to get Effects (transitions) back.
Created new files using effects - Great !!
Went to create DVD - get a message Error code = (%s) {150330:0:)]
Now unable to uninstall VideoStudio6
Beteween a rock and a heard place - any advice welcomed.
Cheers
Les

Re: VideoStudio6
Hi
When we uninstall Video Studio a process called Clean Install is usually recommended.
This involves removing/deleting leftover files after the initial uninstall.
Finding the documentation to describe this process for VS6 is probably not possible.
But doing a search of Corel’s Knowledge base for Clean Install will certainly find details for later products.
The location of folders will not have changed, so you will probably be able to locate VS 6 folders.
Easy if you only have the one Video Studio product installed. There is a Common folder that does contain VS folders.
It will also direct you to a windows disc cleaner that can manually remove programs, use with care.
Note your project files VSP’s can be saved to a safe location, just so you don’t inadvertently delete them.
Hope this Helps

Re: VideoStudio6
Very strange !!
Tried deleting all I could find with Ulead references - but wouldn't let me delete a number of files.
Tried re-installing once again - still got error codes.
Restored all Ulead files from reycle bin - got message then saying did I wish to overwrite all thumbnails etc - said Yes.
Hey presto - everything working
no error codes.
Don't recall deleting any Ulead files prior to problems.
Happy bunny - problem resolved.
Thanks for your help.
