Hello
I just installed Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 Ultimate. I have a Pacific Image 1800u slide scanner that I am using to convert slides to digital images. The problem is that when I scan slides (using the driver that came with the scanner), when it imports into PSP X2, the image is blank (white). This does not happen with Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, nor does this happen with a companion program that came on the same disk, -Corel Photo Essentials; These programs import the image from the scanner. The problem appears specific to the X2 program. Have tried reinstalling. Same problem. Have I missed a setting, since it works ok with the Photo Essentials program?
System: Windows XP SP3, Dell Precision 350 3GHZ, 1G
I actually meant to post this the Paint Shop Pro forum; that's me having too many tabs open.
Perhaps the moderator could transfer this to the right forum. Sorry about the mistake.

Re: Twain scanner import is blank
I don't know for sure but I know with my V500 scanner, PSP converts the file automatically to RGB so maybe X2 doesn't do it automatically???
