Has anyone tried working with the KPT filters included with X3? I'm trying to work something out. In the Equalizer if I open an image that isn't too bit it displays just fine, but if I open a file from a 10mp camera uncropped I get a very close up view of the image, and I can't view the entire image making the whole thing rather useless.
I've read the manual for the KPT collection, and it says to click the flyout window, then choose small, medium, or large preview. But that just crops the preview window and the largest preview window isn't even close as the image zoomed in as it is is larger than my entire screen.
Is there a way to zoom out that's not covered in the manual? To resize the image smaller would be worthless, to try to guess is rather frustrating.

Re: PSP X3: KPT Equalizer
Well, df, I believe the preview size is deliberate. Don't ask me why.
I mean, the parameters box shows that it's not a problem with the plugin not knowing how to resize the image to fit a preview. But you'll notice there is a tiny draggable box inside the parameters box. This allows you to position which part of the image you're previewing. But I believe that's the most control you're going to get. The small/medium/and large preview selections from the preview menu also reflect how large this draggable box is. And since there is no custom option and no amount of keyboard and mouse combinations I tried made any difference. So I think it's stuck that way, for some purpose I can't even begin to imagine.

OK, at least I'm not the only one seeing the problem. Hopefully Corel (or KPT?) will hear of this and offer a fix.

Kpt was purchased many moons ago when Corel bought MetaCreations. They in turn bought the applications created by Kai Krause called KPT. Be it filters or the long gone Soap Now you either like or dislike the interface. Either way corel ain't going to change it after all these years not even a graphite window
