Hi,

This is the issue:

Share--->Create DVD---> I insert 2 .avi (with menu') -->Next

If i press Preview and later Play , now i can't preview my DVD

Used version : Video Studio Pro X2 vers. 12.0.98.1

Someone can me help ?
PS I try to reinstall the appl but without + result

Hi evvivame

I assume you mean Share Create Disc – DVD

I assume you have completed the project and created a AVI using Share Create Video File.

Your AVI does NOT contain a menu.
If during the editing you have added Chapter Points then these are not saved when you created the AVI.

When you do Share Create Disc-DVD you then add the AVI.
You will have to create the menu here.

Ok you have a few options.
1 / With the completed project in the timeline, Share Create Disc – DVD will open the authoring window with your project, your chapter points should be available.
2 / You can do Share Create Video File – DVD, will create a MPEG 2 file of the project.
Then from a new project Share Create Disc-DVD –Add the Mpeg2.
Create your menu.

Please read my Quick Guide to DV-AVI from the link below.
This may give you some pointers as to the workflow you can use.

I add more about my first post:

a) At end of Share Create Disc –> DVD phase, i burn my dvd and I see it fine on the DVD Reader ( Menu is ok, movies are ok !!)

b) the issue is (only) that:
When i see the attached window, i press button a) but i not see the preview of the menu/movies!
( with pre-render menu selected or not)

Now it's better... ?
