PSPPX3 Color Balance Window
Disabling the use full screen preview so I get the before/after samples, anywhere I pick within the origin area near a white or gray zoomed area, I the eye dropper invalid selection. How close do the RGB values have to be to enable the smart balance feature? I have all of the sliders set at neutral 0.

Does the eye-dropper have the invalid selection symbol (circle with a line through it) or do Temp and Tint say invalid? Because you should be able to select the option even though Temp and Tint say invalid.

Re: PSPPX3 Color Balance Window
Temp and Tint box show invalid warnings. It does let me place the balance point and it does have an effect. It gets close but no cigar as the saying goes. I tried an extreme sample change and it worked anyway.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Smart balance is the default and you will see its selected a Gray in the left preview. If you use the dropper to select a white Gray or black you are over riding the smart select IE setting what you wish to be white. Then you can adjust temp tint Using the lower set of sliders to make that selected white , white, pink or purple. I would recommend White
