Hi,
I was running Photo Album 6 and PaintShop Pro 1 on a Dell 3100 with WS Home edition. Windows became unstable and I replaced it with Windows Pro. All program files were saved to an external hard drive but I can't reinstall them even when I direct the Wizard to them. When I view the files they seem to be the trial versions. Can you help?

If they are the try and buy you must have bought a licence key.
I hope you saved the Email as you will need that to turn the try and buy into the full app.
If you registered it and if you bought on line You can go to your account on the web site and see which programmes you have bought and its serial no

Re: Reinstall Photo Album and PSP 1 after computer cras
Thanks for your reply, Trev. I have the product codes and I have a back up of the program files, but I can't reactivate them. When I go on line to try and find the "Free trial Software" I always get routed back to the Corel site and presented with the option of buying Pro X 3 only. Can anyone help?

Re: Reinstall Photo Album and PSP 1 after computer cras
I'm assuming that when you say PSP 1 that you mean PSP XI.
You can't install either it or Photo Album 6 by copying the old files back to the new drive. You need to install them from the installation files that you used to install the original copy. You would've either installed a trial copy and then used the serial number to activate it, or downloaded a copy from a link that you received in an email from Corel after your purchase. Hopefully you saved these files. If you don't make archival copies of the installers for software that you have purchased you will eventually find that you will lose the ability to install the program, or will have to buy a second copy.
Except for the simplest software, almost nothing has been able to be installed by copying the program files from an old hard drive to a new drive for many years.
In the case of PSP XI you can download the trial copy and use your serial number to activate it. The best on to install is version 11.20 which has all the patches already incorporated. You can get a copy from http://www.filehippo.com/download_paint_shop_pro/2287/.
I'm not sure if Photo Album 6 works the same way, but I'd guess that it probably does. You can download the trial copy from http://www.brothersoft.com/corel-photo- ... 42186.html. You will need to install it, use you serial number to activate it, the apply the 6.3.3 patch from http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... 8716790680.
