Capture Directory

Post by crawson »

I am using the 30 day trial to see if WinDVD would work well for me. I am really interested in the capture tool, but can not find the capture directory where the pictures go. When I take a capture, where do I find it?
Thanks

For some reason the capture directory is put in the worst place by default:

Windows Vista/7:
- C:\User's\(user name)\AppData\Roaming\Corel\WinDVD\

Windows XP:
- C:\Documents and Settings\(User Name)\Application Data\Corel\WinDVD\

You can change the settings by right clicking on the WinDVD screen and then selecting setup, once the setup screen is open select the "Playback Control" tab. At the top of the tab you will see the path, you can create a new folder anywhere on the C: drive or you can just create a shortcut to the path above onto the desktop.
