In VS 12 it was possible to produce a disc that contained several VSP files + an intro file that would play before the menu. The problem here was that I had to add the chapter titles again manually that I had named in the VSP files + during the process of producing the disc VS 12 crashed over and over.
How can I in VS X3 produce a disc containing several VSP files? This is apparently not possible in DVD Factory Pro 2010.
I have tried in X3 to use FILE - INSERT MEDIAFILE TO TIMELINE - INSERT VIDEO and then I chose the VSP files to insert. But the files are inserted as one file without chapters.
Shall I first produce a video file of each VSP and then assemble all in DVD Factory? Will the chapters be included in the menu automatically?
How can I include an intro video that will appear before the menu will show up?
Can I - as in VS 12 - save to the harddisk instead of only the Blue Ray disc? I can't find this in in the settings in DVD Factory 2010.
Chapters from VSP files to Blue Ray disc

Re: Chapters from VSP files to Blue Ray disc
Welcome to the forums,
A VSP file is a VideoStudio Project FIle, not a video file. VS does allow inserting them as a video, as well as DVD MovieFactory 7SE & 7 Pro. DVD Factory 2010 however will not accept VSP files. However DVD MovieFactory 7 (Pro and SE) will not accept VSP files from VS X3, since it was not around when DVDMF 7 was created. You will need to render your project (VSP) to a DVD Compliant MPEG-2 video file, OR save your VS X3 Project as a VS X2 or VS 11 project file (VSP) in order to insert that into DVD MF 7. Keep in mind though any functions or features that are found in VS X3, that are not found in the earlier versions, such as the New Blue PiP, will be lost. Basically the days of jumping straight into the Burn module are over.
My suggestion is to forget about DVD Factory 2010, and either download the free SE version of DVD MF 7 or purchase the full Pro version and use it. You must purchase and register VS X3 before you can download DVD MF7SE.
Now even with DVD MF7SE, in VS X3 when you go to Share>Create Disc, and select DVD MF7SE, it will close VS X3 and launch DVD MF7SE. From there you then can opt to insert a VSP file. So you will need to ensure that you save your project before selecting it, so your latest edits will not be lost.
The retention of Chapter Cues created in VS, has been a long standing issue. So far still not fixed, and while the cues will be kept, the Chapter Names or Labels will be lost. You will need to at least re-name them if you so desire, in DVD MF7. My practice has always been to just wait until the burn module of earlier versions of VS, or in DVD MF to create my chapters. I will mainly use the Cue Marks feature, which I don't worry about loosing once the video file is created.
In DVD MF7, there is an option, like the burn module of VS X2 (12), of checking the box beside Use first clip as introductory video. This will play when the disc is inserted into the player.
I think DVD MF7 SE will allow burning Blue Ray folders, not sure on this, as I have not ventured into the HD spectrum yet. DVD Factory 2010 well, like I stated above, forget about using it, a very poorly written program. That's why Corel decided to provide the SE version of DVD MF7..
I'll finally note that DVD MF7 Pro was first released in Australia and maybe one other country only. It was not available in the US until after the DVD Factory 2010 debacle, which of course is this year. You might want to consider picking it up, as it can do more than the SE version. Re: Chapters from VSP files to Blue Ray disc
Thanks for your answer.
I have installed DVD MF7SE 7.00.30169.0 and I got the following results: Twice in a row when trying to burn a DVD 4.7G (incl. a 7 sec. intro + 52 min. video = 3.60GB all together) the error message 'Data buffer underrun. The computer may be too busy with other tasks or may not have enough power to keep the specified burning speed' appeared when it was 99% finished. The PC is more than fast enough and the LG BlueRay drive has the latest drivers installed. Any ideas here?
DVD MF7SE does unfortunately not support VSP ver. 12 formats when I choose Add Video Files, only MPEG, AVI, MOV, WMV etc.
In DVD MF7SE I set up the chapters manually but could not find out how to rename them (I right/dbl clicked on the chapters without luck).
