Problem getting Movie Templets / Style Packs

HI,

I recently upgrade to X3 (bought full version since I previousley used Ulead 7) with a new Windows 7 machine. I have tried to get the extre style packs in VS 2010 and I can downloaded them and install them, but they never appear, excpet the weeding one, and they "disapear" from the "get more" function so they muct be downloaded, they just dont launch. I also did a manual download from

But it still does not work. I contacted Corel and got the below answer from Corel Support, which did not either work. Any suggestions?

First please do not double post. You will not get any quicker responses by doing so. I've deleted your other post.

I'm not familiar with Win7, however in XP and Vista, the installer for the templates, patches ect, are stored locally on your PC. So you can re-install without re-downloading, IF you back them up to another location on your PC. They are found;
On a Vista machine: C:\ProgramData\Corel\Downloads.

There may be several folders in this one, you'll need to open them to find the installer files. I've re-installed them numerous times, from my backup. FWIW, it took numerous attempts for me to get the wedding templates. For a long time I did not have them.

Sorry for double post, realised I should start a new tread as it seem like a lot of people have the same problem and thanks for quick reply.

I did re- install as you said but still nothing happens. Is there a fix for this, or shall I just try to re-install and re-install?? Seems strange that should help though.

Any other suggestions?

Did anyone have an idea for a solution to the above (I have not heard back from Coreal again). It seems it is a common problem.

Are you checking in the Instant Project? That is where these templates will be found, unless they're DVD Menu templates.

BTW, I just noticed that Corel has provided more Style Templates. So check your Get More button to get these latest templates..

Hi,

They actually show up as templates in the instant project VS X3, but not in Video Studio Express within X3.
