VSP X3 Not detect audio stream

Post by asrhael »

Good morning, im bought recently a USB ISDB-tb turner and i recorded some FullHD programs to my laptop.

The specs of the video are atached to this post, it was generated using the MediaInfo app (free).

When add the video into the the VSP X3,it takes a lot of time to load (about 3min), then when i look the properties from this file, not info about the sound are show (looks the 2nd file atached).

I recorded other video files and all of have the same trouble with the audio, but when i want to view in the Totalmedia Theatre v3 the audio and video looks fine and smooth.

I drag n' drop other type of video into VSP, and its properties looks ok (audio and video properties are listed).

I tried too to download some updates like a big file of 200MB from Corel site.

Please, sorry my poor english, i need some help with these kind of file (AVCHD), if someone need a "sample", i can upload some MB to my site (around 100MB).

Regards,
Francisco Chavez C.

Good morning, as I mentioned before, I uploaded a test file are 50 MB.

Apparently the transmission at the time of recording was not AAC MPEG audio as the other file, however still happens the same thing: VSP Corel X3 can not find the audio stream.

Please go to this link to download the file (direct download from my webhosting).

Hi Francisco Chavez C.

There does not seem to be any audio content on this video.
I have tried with Video Studio and other media on my pc (avs converter)
Neither show audio. Sorry

Make sure the USB is streaming audio. Select USB audio from your Volume/Recording input

Thanks for your reply Mr Trevor.

I have also tried to import this file to other video editing programs such as Premiere Elements 8, Edius 5.5, TMPGenc 4 PROCODER 4, Sony Vegas 9, however none of them detects the audio from video.

The strange thing is that if I play the video through VLC, MPHC, TotalMedia Theatre, you can hear the audio perfectly, and the program MediaInfo tells me you have a stream of audio (AAC or MPEGII as transmission).

¿What happen with this kind of file?.

I forgot to mention that the video files I get them using the ArcSoft TotalMedia 3.5 include when I bought my USB tuner.

Thanks for any help, If anyone can investigate what is different this file on any H264 + AAC would be very grateful. I need some form of power to process and edit.

Francisco Chavez Contreras.
