I've had trouble with this rendering issue, blu ray mt2s rendering a project is awful sometimes. either the rendering stops after a certain percentage and i have to start it again, if i trim a video file in the advanced edit on the clip and play the project back aftewr rendering to a blu ray format the picture will freeze just before the next clip where i trimmed it and carry on the movie 2 files later but music plays as normal throughout, it gets stuck at 99% and doesn't finish so have to start again or the program crashes with an error meaning another 5 mins to recover the project.

it doesn't do it hardly when creating a normal dvd mpeg file but blu ray hi def is the main problem here.

Hi,

The only workaround for failaing to render a HD MP4 file is to render HD WMV.

I then use DIVX V8 Converter to convert the WMV file to a HD 720 file.

Thanks again,

Hi

Maybe I am missing something here, but I have used Video Studio for a few years now and have not come across these transition effects.

Are they provided with Video Studio as standard or installed from some other source?

There have been instances reported when short transition effects cause problems, increasing the duration seems to cure this, although I must admit I have not experienced this.

yeah but aren't use losing quality of the orginal 1080p hd file going to 720? i like quality and not reducing the picture quality downscaling.

When preparing HD video for YouTube I find HD 720 to be a good format.
