I have sent customer support an email about the issue, but I'm sure you all know how long it takes them to respond (if they do). So just as a heads up you may want to steer clear of these, or if anybody else has had a similar issue any help would be appreciated.I do like the filters, and they did work great for awhile but looking at a nag screen every time they launch is just not worth it to me. Yes, I allowed them to download and then install automatically. However I did back up the downloaded installer file and save it externally. Well I found the solution if anybody else has this problem. I just totally uninstalled using your uninstaller 2010 removing all registry entries associated with the program then did a fresh install. UPDATE, the installer has a built in repair feature but it resulted in the same issue. I guess I will just have to wait for Corel to resolve this one... If I live that long
I also noticed after a re install that KPT Goo's editing window was cut down to about 2/3 of the screen, none of the other filters were effected. The solution I found to this (if you have a backup of your previous system image) is to navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel PaintShop Photo Pro\X3\PSPClassic\Languages\EN\PlugIns\KPT and replace the folders metaos,Prefs,Presets and Readmes with the ones from your backup, but do not touch any other file in this folder or you will get the same problem all over again. If you do not know how to access a backup here is a tutorial (for windows 7). Right click the start button ( the round button with the multi colored windows symbol) click Properties and then click customize. Scroll down until you see System administrative tools, click the center dot (display on the All Programs menu and the Start menu) click okay then click apply. you should now have Administrative tools as an option when you click the start menu. Now click the start button, Administrative Tools. When the window appears click Computer management. Now you have a new window with multiple options, click Disk Management, this will list all disks currently attached to your computer. At the right of the window you have a menu called (More Actions) click that tab and select (Attach VHD) Browse to the location your backups are stored and select a backup. Click a Backup file and click okay. Your backups created in windows can now be mounted just as they were a physical disk and you can browse and copy from them as they were a physical disk.
