Latest update?

Post by LeviFiction »

So I was caught by surprise after doing some scripting tests it told me that an update was waiting. I let it do its thing and now the version number is 13.2.0.35 and some other numbers.

But what all was fixed this time around? Did anyone catch the actual update message to let us know? Currently the support site doesn't have it up. Though it's possible I'm asking an hour or so before they update their site.

I've only noticed two things, though they are the only two things I've had problems with so that means nothing. And these many not actually be fixed. I don't know.

1) I notice that the text tool no longer freezes the system when either the foreground/background materials are transparent.
2) Guide "bug" (Simone claimed it wasn't a bug) no longer effects me at all.

Tkinter still doesn't work, and the memory bug (though I did not expect a fix any time soon) is still there.

Lucky You. No update for me as yet.
I did not know there was a Guide Bug. But I did crash when setting the guide to check the missing pixels after Float Defloat .
I have only seen that once and wonder if its Nvida related as my tests have not confirmed it But then I went for ATI

Sweet. Then I was looking at the right message.

When I got the download I only found out about it after closing PSP and it only told me that the update was ready to install. Nothing else. However a search of the message cache that was created around the same time I got the upgrade notice showed that same webpage. So....not very informative is it?

Yes that's the first patch. That's been there for a while. This is brand new patch number 2, and according to Tim it'll come out slowly only through PSP's update message center thingy. So you'll get it when you get it.

There are some more pleasant things in the 2nd update. Organizer has become really faster and more stable. And what's more, .pspimage files are now correctly displayed as previews in Windows Explorer (at least in 64-bit Windows 7). RAW Lab has become really useful and faster (at least on my not very powerful system) and produces great results (I use Olympus E-30 DLSR camera). Good news! :D

I just updated my PSPPX3 this morning by going thru HELP/CHECK FOR UPDATES. Fairly quick install and new version is 13.2.0.35. It listed three areas that had enhancements/corrections, but I didn't screen print it and don't remember what they were (My internal memory unit is too old and doesn't remember things like it used to).
