Activation fail

Post by digachan »

I installed VS Pro X3 on my Vista Ultimate HD and found that the VS Pro X3 does not work properly.
(Ref post: VS Pro X3 does not work on May11,2010) As there was no other way I reformatted the HD
and installed Windows 7 Pro 64bit version in the same computer and installed VS Pro X3 and now
I cannot Activate the software and it says that I have passed the limit of my installations.
I sent 4 e-mails to Corel and so far no reply at all and now it is nearly a month.
How can I activate this software or get a claim form Corel as I was buying VS from version-7,
through the online store.

I think that you may need to call Corel, and advise that what happened. I've had the same issue with Paintshop Photo Pro X2. For anti-piracy protection they have a 3x activation limit, beyond that it takes contacting them to reset, or give you another 3x activation. I know it's a real PITA, however that's one of the ways they have been using to protect their products.
