VS9 trial Program " Codec Error "

I Have Down Loaded and reinstalled VS9 three times now.
when i try to launch the program it tell's me i have that!.
"Codec TrialActivation has a Serious Error".
the start page then unloads and i can go no further.

Did you ever try the trial? If so, uninstall the trial. That's all I can think of right now.

There are a couple of pre-requisites that must be installed in addition to the UVS 9 trial version (as per the UVS 9 Trial page):
  • Microsoft® DirectX™ 9.0
    Microsoft® Windows®Media Player
    Apple® QuickTime®
    RealNetworks® RealPlayer
    Acrobat Reader
A missing Acrobat Reader wouldn't cause the program to not load, but the others could do that. The UVS splash screen may even require one of these codecs, too.
