Corel Video Studio ProX3 And EasyCap

I recently downloaded the Corel Video Studio Pro X3 trial because i bought an easycap and have ulead video studio and i wanted to upgrade to better software. When i go to record with my easycap i click on source my easycap appears on there but when i click on it to try and use it CorelVideo freezes then reverts back to webcam. This is much better than ulead video and i would like to buy it so what would be the problem? I have easycap dc60+

There have been a lot of posts of late regarding Easycap.
I assume your version came with VS10SE

Try a search on the forum to find more info.

Well Easycap is probably the problem, although some users are successful, but then again they don’t post when things work.

I purchased Easycap some years ago, cos it was cheap, but when it doesn’t work, then its a waste of money.

Sorry I cannot be more positive regarding Easycap.

Do you have a camera that supports throughput.
Connecting the VHS to AV-in and DV-Out to the pc via firewire.
The camera acting like a video converter.

Also, easycap and other manufacturers take Ulead's VS, tailor it to work with their hardware and package it together, thus, other software rarely works.

Capture with the VS that came with Easycap and then edit with X3!
