Problem Creating Video In Video Studio 9

Post by bamaral »

I'm a new video studio user trying to create a video for my daughter's high school project. I created a project using Video Studio 9 consisting of different video segments from 20 different Windows Movie Files (wfm). The project plays back fine using Project Playback. When I attempt to create a video the rendering starts ok but then it stops about 30 seconds later. It doesn't matter what type of video format I choose it still stops after about 30 seconds. I tried deleting some of the initial video segments but it still stops prematurely. I don't get any error messages. The rendering screen just goes black. My project properties are: NTSC drop fram (29.97 fps), MPEG file, 24 Bits, 720 X 480, 29.97 fps, Lower Field First, (DVD-NTSC), 4:3, Videodata rate: Variable (max 8000KBps). The Windows Media Video properties are: Data rate: 2031 Kbps, 24 Bits, 640 X 480, 30.00 Frames/sec.

Anybody have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
