I know that Corel seem to be on a suicide mission, and like buying up software, only to stop releasing it, so nobody is able to buy it, but I wonder if they would listen to reason and sell us (or me, if I had the money) the rights to PhotoImpact X3? Then we (or I) could continue to have it developed, and continue to sell it, even if Corel don't want to.
No other program comes close to PhotoImpact - I was looking at several Youtube demos of Illustrator the other day, and it can't do what PI can do - i.e. deal with images in the same way, nor is it as quick and easy to use to make graphics for websites (buttons, backgrounds, etc.).
I love PhotoImpact and can't imagine using any other graphics program for my work.
