Hi
Im a relative newbie to MF and I'm using MF3.
When trying to Import from DVD to MF sometimes it works just fine, then other times I get the error message that MF 'does not support this format. (Dolby Digital). Do you still want to insert this video clip?'
When I select Yes, it insert the video clip with no sound whatsover.
Is there any way round this???
Thanks
Dolby Digital Audio!!

Are you saying that MF3 does not support movies with dolby sound? Do we need to upgrade to MF4? According to the spec, MF4 should be able to handle souce video files with dolby digital audio, without the need for getting MF4 Disc Creator.maddrummer3301 wrote:Buy the Ulead Dolby Audio Plugin AC pack

Buy MF4 Disc Creator version that supports Dobly Audio.

Where does one get the Ulead Dolby Audio Plugin AC pack? I can't seem to find any reference to it on the site. Or does MF4 eliminate the need for the plugin?

I hear they have done away with the AC-3 plug-in.
I can't find it on the website either.
Unless you need all the extra's in the "MF4 Disc Creator" version
then the standard MF4 is fine.
Dolby Digital is included in both programs.
If you do load the extra programs in the "Disc Creator" version they can
conflict with existing packet writing software such as Roxio "Drag & Drop"
and Nero's "INCD" program.
Here is a link for a comparision between the two programs.
