Introducing myself

Post by wjmund »

Hello; I am glad to have found this forum. I am 69 years of age, have raised Standardbreds, GSD's and been a nurseryman most of my life. Lately been dabbling with photography, and starting to get into video. Shoot video with HD720 avchd. Used Photo Impact since version10 and have X3 now. Had Intervideo media one and made nice slide shows with that.

Bought VS12, and now have VSx3. Have learned how to save a file and upload to utube. Will try making a dvd with 2010 burner and also old revised movie factory burner.

Any comments or advise greatly appreciated. My name is Warren.

What product are you needing help with? If it is a general question, not specific to a program like VideoStudio or PaintShop Photo Pro, then we do have a forum for that. It is broken down into a couple of forums, Video & DVD, Imaging.

Again welcome to the forums..:)

Hi. My name is Bob, actually. I'm in the third trimester of my life, retired from a very eclectic history of jobs ranging from cartography to carpentry before retiring in 2000. At the moment, my interests are in astronomy, photography (I have a new Canon DSLR camera, an EOS 500D), nature and hiking. I've had a copy of Paint Shop Pro since version 9, and now I'm struggling to adjust to version X3. For now, however, the main reason for seeking out a Paint Shop Pro forum has to do with the issue of why photography magazines' how-to articles only refer to and use Adobe's Photoshop product? I seem to recall that I once saw in a Barnes & Noble or a Borders store a magazine devoted to fans of Paint Shop Pro; is there still such a publication like that out in the world, and if so, is it produced by the Corel folks, or was it compiled and published by an independent company? Just this morning I "Googled" the name Paint Shop Pro and came up with seemingly hundreds of hits but haven't investigated them all yet. Nevertheless, I'd still like to know if there exists a magazine for Paint Shop Pro users.
