Pre rendering

Post by ophelius »

If I pre-render an AVI file into a DVD Mpeg-2 from another application and I'm satisfied with it, can I be certain that MF won't tamper with it(re-compress/re-render) during the DVD burning stage? Hope that makes sense. Thanks

If the mpeg-2 file is fully DVD-compliant, and you have ticked the box 'Do not convert compliant mpeg files' in the middle of the three icons in the bottom left of the MF screen, then the video will not be re-rendered during the burning stage.
