Audio error message stops me! I can burn VCD, but not DVD!?

I've created a promotional video for my small business. 18 min. long with audio & music track. I can burn the video to a VCD, but can't get it to burn to DVD. The error message (after waiting 14 min. for it to format... ) "Ulead VideoStudio: All or part of the audio data in the MPEG file is not compatabile with this program. OK"...not OK, I need to get this video to DVD. Can anyone please help! Thanks, CA

2. Where did the MPEG files come from, and how are they encoded?

3. What country are you in?

4. Which DVD template did you use?

1. I have v 9, I just purchased it and am still learning how to use it. This was my first attempt to burn a DVD. I used lots of overlays, transitions, titles and background music.

2. I downloaded them from my Sony Handycam. By encoding, do you mean that once they're downloaded they appear as uvs000000-000.MPG files?I shot the footage myself on Mini DV in order to create the promotional video.

4. I'm not sure what you're asking in this question...I attempted to burn the video to a DVD-R and to a DVD-RW using both UVS 9 and Nero. Both failed. There is a template for the menu (Classic), but I believe that's not what you're asking for.

If I haven't answered this or any of the other questions with the information you're requesting, please let me know and I'll try to get the correct information. I certainly appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks, CA
