VS3 - "Special" rate for NewBlueFx news

Post by lisaviolet »

Okay, I found out that the "special" rate for the NewBlueFX link found in the "do more" link isn't so special. Same rate for everyone. I didn't buy it. And doing a search of this forum, I wasn't the only one who realized this.

But I did see their FaceBook page last week and I did leave a comment on their wall to the effect that the rate offered was not a special rate. This was the response I got this morning:

"Hi Lisa, thanks for your feedback on the NewBlueFX "offer" - I started here about 2 months ago and you raise a good point, I am going to recommend we change that."

And she gave me a discount code for 40% off.

So, if you're one of the people who found out the same thing I did, either email them or leave a message on their FB wall that you don't feel so special. *lol*

Nice job, Lisa. I think most see it the way you and aljimenez saw it (not so special). Nice to see someone at NewBlue has seen this "special offer/deal" to Corel users might be just a tad deceitful and not so special and took a step to correct it. Thank you!!!

Thank you for sharing the tip.
I get an email from NewBlue on what seems to be a weekly basis.
Nice as they are they seem a bit expensive and cost more than VideoStudio itself.
