Hi and thank you for reading. I am making a slide show using ulead video editor. The pictures once inserted have a duration time of 3 seconds. I wish to increase the duration to 8 seconds. Is there a way of changing the duration on all images (batch) or can you only do this individually. I have a lot of pics so a batch change would save a lot of time.
Thanks Tony

Re: Slide show
Welcome to the forums,
Depending on what version you're using, is where the command is found. In the current version VS Pro X3 look under the Edit menu for Change Photo/Color Duration. For all versions prior look under the Clip menu for Change image/color duration.
Just select all your photos the normal windows way, by clicking on the first photo, then holding down the [Shift] key, go to the last photo and click on it. Then go to the Edit or Clip menu to select the command. A dialog window will open where you can set the new duration.

Re: Slide show
Further, Is there any method to change the default photo duration from 3 second to 8 seconds?
As I also want to use a default 2 second transition duration. Using the default 3 second duration will cause a insufficient media length error and trim it back to 1 second. It will be great if I can set the photo duration to 8 seconds.

Hi tkm
View the Preferences folder I think under Edit Tab can change image and effects durations.
X2 and earlier File – Preferences
X3 Settings - Preferences
