Hello thank you for responding, before I post and even before I tried login to the Forum. But there is another problem, mine is only text and found no information to help me, so I asked for help

This is the windows error I was getting:

Name faulting application: Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo.exe, version: 13.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4b3b2b3d
Name of module failures: ToolText.dll, version: 13.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4b3b2998

Identification Report: b3abeb50-7cd2-11df-948f-001fc6c2cddc

As I understand it and error appears in Windows the problem is different.
But you who understand the program and think it's the same problem I apologize and will not be repeated again.
Thank you for your attention and response.

I too Had This problem after doing some test on the text tool on behalf of another user I did the trick of holding down the shift key as i clicked the X3 icon to reset the application to Default. Some other user found it was because the fill or stroke (or both ) was set to null when clicking the text tool so When it happened again I tried that But it did not work. So I used reset again.
If you have customised the workspace and not saved it Your going to have to do it all again . You could save the workspace now but be aware that could save whatever causes the problem Too.

Problem solved.
I did this procedure below and it worked:

1. Inside Paint Shop Pro, go to File | Preferences | Reset preferences.
2. Check delete all Cache files.
3. Click Ok.
4. Try the tool that was giving you the problem and note if behavior continues.

Thank for help and Marty and Trev.

Okay, tried again to no avail. Everything works fine but the text tool. This time I was able to close psp without shutting down my computer. I tried to google for the update but can't find it anywhere.
