having issues adding text. latest updates, removed all fonts allow. still crashing. uninstalled and reinstalled program. none of it works. need help

If Background and Fill is set to Transparent you will get a crash using text.

Also, you might want to search for more issues in this forum.

I did this procedure and it worked

1. Inside Paint Shop Pro, go to File | Preferences | Reset preferences.
2. Check delete all Cache files.
3. Click Ok.
4. Try the tool that was giving you the problem and note if behavior continues.
