I have used Video X3 to create short movies (5-6 minutes) from AVCHD lite files. The movies are render into MP4 HD files by the file output selection in X3. The files play fine on my WD HD video player from a flash drive. They also play fine on my LG bluray player from the same flash drive. When I select 4-6 of these movie files for disk creation in Factory 7 SE, the reported file length is correct, but the time is too short. When the files are rendered into a DVD or AVCHD disk (which seems to proceed fine), all the short movies being compiled are trimmed down to about 2+ minutes from 5 minutes. Of course, about 1/2 of each movie is lost in compiling the DVD. What's wrong. I can't make a DVD or AVCHD disk from several short movies created in X3
Thanks

Re: Factory 7 SE - cuts off short movies compiled
I discovered that Factory SE reports each mp4 HD file created in x3 is 60 fps. Other video software reports the correct 30 fps. Perhaps, this is why I am losing 50% of each movie clip being compiled to disk. Quality is excellent, however. Burning in x2 proceed OK but very slowly. However, the output is loaded with artifacts and low quality. I guess I need to try another file format when creating the movies and not mpeg-4 HD.
