I am trying to create the highest quality DVD I can (not blu-ray). I am utilizing AVCHD Video (.MTS) video clips. Before burning to DVD using which format should the project be created in? What will provide the least amount of quality loss when converting?
My head is spinning right now.

Re: X3 Ideal Format to DVD?
... And I am afraid that starting a new thread covering the same ground as your other, longer thread will not help your head stop spinning. In effect you were given relevant information in the other thread. The project properties you were using were what would normally give you a high quality DVD. It has to be mpeg-2 to meet DVD standards.
The only thing you need to change was the Field Order in your Project Settings from its current Lower Field First to Upper Field First, to be the same as the input AVCHD video. And Trevor told you that in the other thread.
I am going to lock this thread to avoid creating further confusion all round, with even more heads spinning!!
