to save a clip?
I used the Multi Trim Video feature today for the first time. All worked fine until I tried to save a clip -- File/Save Trimmed Video. Then I got a message which says: "The frame size (416 x 240) of the video file does not match the settings and therefore cannot be trimmed." What do I do to save a clip? Thanks for you help.

Re: to save a clip?
Is that the actual size of the clip? Where did you get it from?

Yes, that is the actual size of the clip, as stated in the clip's property details. I got the video at the Internet Archive http://www.archive.org/details/nature-1. The video is an MP4 file.

Re: to save a clip?
Okay, it looks like I've found the solution to the problem. The Project Properties settings (under Settings) is set at 720x480. The video being clipped has to fit that same frame size exactly or the program will not let you save the clip. I ran the video through a video file converter a couple of times, changing only the frame size each time. I could save the clip only when the frame size matched the Project Properties settings. This is rather unfortunate because those settings are not very flexible, and if I want a larger size clip (dimensionally),I'll have to run the video through a video file converter a couple of times -- once before and once after -- in order to get the bigger clip.
