Video Studio X3 trial

Post by NOKNOT »

I downloaded the trial version, loaded and trimmed video with no problems. I really thought this would be great to upgrade to until I went into the DVD Factory to create and edit the menus. It was so slow and half the time froze up. I am running Windows XP and have plenty of hd. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem? Thanks.

There is a very lengthy thread at the top of this forum detailing (1) the problems/complaints with the original burning module and (2) the subsequent replacement for it.

Thanks for the info. Think I will pass on this upgrade, looks like a big ball of confusion to me. Maybe they can straighten it out by the next upgrade.

It has been straightened out. MovieFactory 7 SE has replaced the terrible DVD Factory as the burning module. MovieFactory is not included in the trial version. It is only available to registered users of X3.

Thanks Black Lab I'm glad to here they got that mess fixed but I'm a little leery of purchasing something without being able to try it first. I don't understand if everything is fixed now why they can't offer that in the trial version also. I had e-mailed Corel about my problem and received a reply back awhile ago telling me I needed to purchase their Corel PaintShop Pro X3, anyway thanks for your help.

I see now that MovieFactory is included when you purchase X3. No need to download it separately.
