I am using VideoStudio 10 SE to render a project made up of video clips and still images and some audio wav files.
I burned a DVD of the project and all appeared to work correctly. While viewing the DVD on a different DVD player I noticed some edits I needed to make so I went back into VideoStudio 10 and made the edits. I saved the project and then went to Share and picked on Create DVD, just as before. After the DVD disc was complete I viewed it on the DVD player and the video that was burned onto the DVD was the old version and not the newer version with my edits.
If I create a file to my hard drive I get the new version of the video with the edits.
I have burned four DVDs now trying different things but I still get the older version of the video burned onto the DVD.
Is there a disc image file somewhere that is being used each time I try to burn a DVD?
How can I ensure that it is updated with the newer version of the project with my new edits?
It appears that the project is being saved with the newer version and my new edits but when I try to burn a DVD I keep getting the older version of the project.
Thanks,
Keith

After you have saved your project do you then create a video file before burning your DVD ? and then make sure that you are using that new video file to burn the DVD. I would recommend that is what you should do.
best way to make sure you are using the new file is to give it a slightly different name - add 'edit' or similar in the name - then make sure you are using the new name when you burn to disc. When you open the create disc window delete everything in it's timeline before importing the new file
Also you do not need to burn a DVD to check if your new DVD contains the modified file - use the disc preview option by clicking on the remote control icon under the right hand corner of the preview screen, this allows you to 'play' the DVD without burning it.

Thanks for the reply Brian.
I will give that a try and see how it works for me.
