rendering as 1st clip not availaible (in grey)

Post by bnigrell »

Dear all

Just trying to edit my first video in HD.
I have made some trials and was rendering with the "same as 1st clip option"
Everything was ok

Now my film is edited and its duration is 25mns and I want to render, but ...
When I want to render, the option "same as 1st clip" is unfortunately in grey, so I cannot select it.
Any idea why this happens ? Is there another way to render my video with keeping the same high quality ?

Thanks for nay help you can provide.

I would guess that you might have a flash clip or similar in front of the main clip. In any case just go to Share, Create video file and again I would guess you have an AVCHD clip as the Main source, right click on that clip and click properties then use those properties to set the AVCHD output file properties.

Hi
Same as First Video Clip

Not all video formats allow this option. If the video properties are suitable to set as project properties then the option should work.
If you were to use one of the libraries sample video WMV for instance then this option won’t be available.

As we know nothing about your video other than HD, it’s a little difficult to comment.

Can you give details of your video file, right click the clip and select properties?

What version of Video Studio are you using?

There is a post at the top of this forum, giving details of what we require. Provide us with as much information as possible.
