Settings for tv capture card

Post by Screwball »

Hi, have just installed a hauppauge tv card. I have old videos which I am playing through a video player. I can get no pic or sound when capturing. There are many options in 'Options' as I am in UK does anyone know what selections I should make for:- Format (is it AVI?) VIDEO - Input source - TVsystem (I know it's PAL but there are many options). AND input source for AUDIO? Appreciate any help.

The idea is to use the software that came with the Hauppage for capture. Then you simply open the video in VS for editing...
