I bought Media Studio pro 7.0 yesterday so I am a newcomer.
I am trying to use this wonderful program but everytime it stops when it tries to initalize the Sony Express FX audio restoration (85% initialization of video filter) at the start of the program. I don't know what to do.

It could be one of those troublesome DirectX audio filters discussed in this thread;

The problem could well be that Sony bought SonicFoundry and is now selling a lot of their products under the Sonly label including ExpressFX. If I remember correctly some of SF's DirectX audio filters were troublesome in the manner discribed in the above noted thread.
You might well want to consider applying the 7.3 Service Pack and see if that helps since some Dx audio problems were patched in both it and 7.2.
Otherwise refer back to the fix in that thread, which would unfortunately mean MSPro would no longer be able to use DirectX audio filters of any kind.
