Video Sutdio 10 Audio Tracks Problem

Hey there guys, i am new to the ULead video stuido program, everything so far looks very easy to use, and really quite awesome for making videos.
I'm trying to make a video for youtube which includes different audio tracks, i tried putting an audio track in the music timeline, and it goes in fine, however, when i play the whole thing there is no sound whatsoever? it's an mp3 file and i have no idea what the problem could be?

Hi Dan

First of all can you please update your profile to include the correct PC Spec details.

MP3 Sound Files
There have been some problems with these types, I found using a bit rate over 192 gave trouble.
As far as I know no solution has been found therefore Wav files is recommended.

If its just a playback problem, use Share Create Sound File—this should create a Wav of the entire project, replace the Mp3 file.

There were 2 versions of VS 10, VS 10, and VS 10+, not counting the freebie that is bundled with hardware, VS 10SE. In order to run VS10/10+ on a Vista machine, you needed to apply the Vista Patch. However the Vista Patch will only install on Vista machines. Since you're running Win7, which my understanding is similar to Vista, I'm curious if you were able to install the Vista patch? Also be aware that the patches will not install to SE versions. VS also does not like MP3 files that use the Lame codec.
