no matter what I do I cannot start up photo express 5 on my pc. I have installed and un-installed and tried every compatibility mode available. I cannot use uleads tech support because I cannot get to the serial number as it shuts down and greys out the about buttons. and element 5 where I bought it from did not put the serial number anywhwere on the packaging.
no phone nos. anywhere and no reply from element 5 or ulead. total nightmare. any ideas??

You know what I was having the same prob. and what i did was tried reinstalling the program after using the MSCONFIG utility in Windows XP to disable all startup items as well as the non-Microsoft Services and reboot. Once rebooted, reinstall the program now that there is nothing interfering and try it out. If it works, then set everything back to normal in MSCONFIG and reboot the computer again. That should work it did for me.
